When I was a student at Hull Art College, I used to sketch around Sammy's Point where the Humber and the River Hull meet.I often found clay pipes in the mud.

A fantastic pastime was the jazz Night on the Humber Ferry.

We boarded at Corporation Pierand it sailed up and down the River , everybody getting gradually sloshed!.
