Holy Trinity has always been seen from the River Hull, and a welcome sight after a long journey at sea!

The view I painted has now,alas, been lost.

The warehouse could have been saved but it was demolished to make way for yet another digitally designed pretend “warehouse” with yuppy apartments.

The river front is fast becoming characterless.

I wanted to capture a glimpse of the church in all its afternoon glory with the original warehouse standing as a sentinel.
