Steam trains
This is one of my watercolour sketches done in the workshops at Grosmont, centre of the North York Moors Steam trains.
I spent a week there, gathering reseach and doing working drawings of these fantastic steam trains.
Their intricate structures meant careful observations and exact drawings.
This is one of the first of the rough sketches.
By the end of week my powers of observation were fully in tune with these complicated iron monsters!
