Lily and Devon
As a result of Cottingham Day,I was given a commission to do a portrait of two dachshunds.
The dogs are completely different in personality but share a great zest for life and mischief.
I used dry pastels, a medium I haven’t used for a long time.
I rediscovered the lovely textures and colours blending pastels can give.
The owner was very pleased with the results and thinks I have captured the character of her dogs very successfully.
