August 2009, the Wolds Gallery, South Cave, Solo Exhibition
This exhibtion of my paintings has been the main event of the year so far.
The work on show was very well received with a lot of positive feedback and a healthy sales record.
There were altogther 18 works of art in oils, watercolour and mixed media.

The themes were local, including for the first time paintings featuring Cottingham.
The public seemed to thoroughly enjoy the Westwood paintings, particularly the cattle arriving for the summer pasture.
Prints of my work also did a roaring trade.
I am grateful to Richard Duncan for inviting me to exhibit in his Gallery and to the public for making the event so worthwhile.
