Humber to the Wash Exhibition 2011
One of my Hull Docks series was chosen for the "Humber to the Wash" exhibition at the Ropewalk Gallery, Barton, Lincolnshire.

In November I was approached by "The Octagon Centre" in Hull. It does valuable work with the local community.
The Secret Art Show
Towards the middle of the year I was approached to take part in "The Secret Art Show" in aid of the Multiple Sclerosis Trust. I am pleased to say that my watercolour was sold and the money donated to this worthwhile cause.
Beverley Open Art Exhibition
During the Autumn I exhibited one of my Westwood series pf paintings depicting cattle sheltering from the heat of the intense mid day sun.
September, a demonstration in oils, Bridlington Art Society
This was a very pleasant evening with a very friendly society. After a very tasty fish and chip supper on the seafront, I set off to demonstrate how to paint Beverley Minster in the snow.
August 2009, the Wolds Gallery, South Cave, Solo Exhibition
This exhibtion of my paintings has been the main event of the year so far. The work on show was very well received with a lot of positive feedback and a healthy sales record.

The Barge “Phyllis” at Barton on Humber
I entered one painting for this exhibition, The Barge, Phyllis, and it was selected for display. I enjoyed painting this picture, especially the moody weather of that particular day.
“Carved”, an exhibition in Beverley Minster and Beverley Art Gallery
his exhibtion was organised by East Riding Artists in conjunction with Beverley Art Gallery. I exhibited one watercolour exhibiting the carvings outside the Minster.
