I was invited to paint in oils in this beautiful Wolds village.

The garden in which I was painting has a lovely view of sheep grazing in the lea of the hill.

The landscape required sensitive handling as the scene consisted of different elevations.

The greens were so vivid it was difficult to avoid creating a painting looking too surreal.

The owners were very pleased with the final result and bought the painting.
